STATE OF CULTURE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION OCT 24

The State of Culture in Ulster County presentation was held via Zoom on October 24th.

This event provided an opportunity for the public to hear a comprehensive summary of findings from the first two phases of the Ulster County Arts and Culture Plan. Attendees heard about the data we've gathered from surveys, town halls, individual and group interviews, as well as a deep dive into the economic impact of arts and culture in Ulster County, summarized in the State of Culture Executive Summary and the Full Report.

The evening featured:

  • Remarks from Peter Criswell, Chair of the Ulster County Legislature
  • A presentation by our Arts and Culture Plan consultants, who will provide important context
  • Breakout group discussions and a plenary session for collaborative input

Presentation slides are available here. A recording can be accessed here.

Now open through November 8 - take the survey to provide feedback on the report!
